PRICELESS TREASURES GONE.
NEW YORK, February 19.
Mrs Vanderbilt junr.'s country residence/ at Lpng Island, of 60 rooms, built Host year at a cost of £280.000, and containing priceless paintings and tapestries, was destroyed by fire. The brigade* were unable to approach owing to the deep snow.
