CONFERENCE ADJOURNED TILL FRIDAY. (Received February 21. 10.35 a.m.) MELBOURNE, February 21.. Justice Iliggins resumed the compulsory conference regarding the- shipping dispute. Mr Hughes notified him = of the result of the men's decision with regard to overtime work, but as the position was complicated owing to the want of unanimity in the voting, he asked-for a week's adjournment. In the meantime, the Waterside Federation will ask its members to resume normal conditions pending an arbitration award.
Justice Higgins agreed to resume the hearing on Friday.
