The Chief Justice, to-day heard argument on an application by the . de--'fendant in the libel case "New Zealand Times" v. the "Dominion," for leave to deliver interrogatories which sought to ascertain.- details of the circulation of the "Times" from the'beginning of the strike, and details of the advertising business of the "Times" before and after the publication in the "Dominion " of the article complained of. \
