AUCKLAND. February IG. Alexander Johnson, a wharf labourer, was found dead in a pool of blood outside his lodgings at 5.30 o'clock this morning. Deceased was recently employed on one of the intercolonial steamers.
At the inquest the doctor stated that the cause of- death was severe hemorrhage of the lungs. A verdict was returned accordingly. .
