RECLAIMED BY CHURCH ARMY.
Prebendary C&rlile, head of the Onurch, Army prison-gate' work, when going to Buckingham Palace, was stopped at the gates by an.ex-pick pocket who had been reclaimed. He asked Prebendary Oarlile to show the King a Post Office Savings Bank book containing £128. The King heartily commended the work of the army, saying, "I feel-the greatest sympathy for those who have made a slip in life and now, without./aeeans of characters, are working their way back to good citizenship."
