A TUNNEL PROJECT.
TO CONNECT SCOTLAND WITH IRELAND. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) NEW YORK, February 13. , A Chicago engineer has planned- a submerged tube railway between Scotland and Ireland, believing that commercial betterment would remedy Irish unrest. The tube, he says, would lie in quiet water, free from the effects of winds and waves. He would build it in short convenient, lengths to be towed out, sunk, and fixed together.
