I THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENTIONS (Received February 14, 1.30 p.m.) . •, LONDON, February 13. Mr Leif Jones, in the Commons,, moved an amendment regretting there was; no reference in the Speech from the Throne of an intention to introduce a Temperance Reform Bill.
Mr Asquith replied that it was impossible to pass such a measure this session, but it was' the intention of the Government within the lifetime of the present Parliament to prosecute legislation of this kind.
