AND THE FENNIER CASE. MISSING MAN ARRESTED, ,:- (Per Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, February 12. Fenner, the stockbroker who, is charged with fraudulently converting share, certificates to the value of £15,000, has been arrested in Paris.. ' The prosecution arises out of bankruptcy proceedings in May last. PARIS, February 13. The police identified Fenner by a photograph. He appeared freely in restaurants and theatres. He was shadowed for several days, and now is awaiting extradition.
[Some months ago the " National Review " published remarkable disclosures, alleging that the Radical Party invested £61,000 m March and April, 1911, through Penner, apparently in anticipation of Coronation honours.' By July, 1912, Fenner had stolen £70,000, but was allowed to remain in business until he had squandered £140,000. A warrant was issued on December 26 for his arrest .}
