MEETING OF N.Z.A.A. COUNCIL. WELLINGTON, February IT. The Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association met tonight, Mr A. Davies presiding. It was decided to inform the Canterbury Centre that Mr M. E. Burnett would be appointed delegate fov that centre.if a local nomination was not received by next meeting. The Council endorsed

the Auckland Centre s suspension of J. J. Mulvihill pending a settlement of a certain dispute. An Auckland application for permission to hold a return meeting for the American, athletes on March 14 was granted, the Association to get one-third ■of the net profits. April 13 was granted as the date for the University championship meeting at Christchurch. Permission was also granted for holding the , South Island championships on February 25. Reinstatement, was granted to Edwin Silby, Albert Norman and Arthur McNeish.
