Professor David read a paper before the Royal Geographical Society on "Some Unsolved Problems of the Antarctic," largely technical. Referring to Sir Ernest Shackleton's new expedition, he said it would bring back material of lasting importance. He eulogised Dr Mawson's meteorological work.
