THE BRADFIELD MURDER.
SUMNER SENTENCED TO DEATH,
ELTOFT GETS FOUR YEARS
(Received February 6, 9.45 a.m.) LONDON, February 5. The jury in the Bradfield murder case was absent for an hour. Sumner, whose real name is George Ball, was found guilty of murder, and Eltoft, as an accessory after fact was recommended to mercy owing to . his youth, and to being influenced by Sumner. The latter was sentenced to death, and heard the sentence unmoved. Eltoft,was sentenced to four years' imprisonment.
