ANAMA ROAD BOARD.

A meeting of the Anama Road Board was held at Hekeao on Monday last; Present: Messrs W. Nosworthy, M.P. (chairman), G. Murdoch, and A. Harvey, sen. The clerk's report was read. It detailed the items of shingling done, and a number of small works done during the month, and others >to be undertaken.

It was: decided to shingle the following roads in the near future:-—From Ruapuna School to ; Coskerie's (Cemetery) Roadj a portion of Shepherd's Bush Road, and the road from Surrey 'Hills Road to the north end of Down's Road; also a further length of South Hinds Road; also to re-shingle Lower Down Road if metal can be obtained j from any of the gullies. ! Messrs Dougall and Upham advised I that a title could now be given to_ two acres at Ruapuna bought for a shingle reserve.—The Clerk stated that the Board's solicitor had the matter in hand. ' ':■
