A GIDDY PRINCESS.
PRANKS END IN DIVORCE. (Per Press Association—Copyright). STOCKHOLM, November 24. The impending divorce of Prince William of Sweden is causing tremendous interest. It is' stated that the Princess indulged i\\ remarkable pranks at private parties, pouring champagne over the 1 guests' heads whilst high ' court functionaries were present. She bad her I i full share of wine, both inside and outside.
She also arranged fancy-dress balls for working.'people,-appearing in the costume of a page-boy X and dancing, undiscovered, -i'or hours with girls.
She undoubtedly possessed a temperament unsuitcd to the restraints of court life, preferring mixing with the middle classes where,unfettered, natural vivacity was possible.
The Prince is going to Africa on a hunting expedition.
The divorce preliminaries have been amicably settled, the Princess's dowry of £300,000 being returned untouched.
Their son Lennart will remain in Sweden under the care of his uncle and aimtj but. will be sent to his mother for two months yearly, to spare her the embarrassment of coming to Stock hfclm.
