Frozen Meat.—Mutton—The market is firm. No supplies of Canterbury are .on liiuid, with.the result that there is a better demand for North Island at 4-Jd. Lamb—The market is firm with no change in prices. Beef—The market is .firm with no; change in prices; chilled hindquarters, s|d; for'equarters ■ 3 11-16 d. .
Butter.:—The market is quiet but steady, with a good-demand; Danish 129s to 131s, New Zealand 124s to 1265, Australian 116s to 1225, Argentine 116s to 120s, Siberian 108s to 112s. The present price of unsalted is 2s lower than salted.
Cheese. —The market is quiet but firm, .with a fair demand for Canadian white at. 65s to 665, coloured 68s to 675; New Zealand white 645, coloured 64s to 655.
Wool.—The market for tops continues dull and prices have slightly declined for all grades during this week.
