He stated that when he starts in about' 18 -months hence to make his first crossing of the Antarctic Continent some former com- ; rades will accompany him. Hfi added: "If the Royal Geographical Society permitted, he wished to name the highest point of the South Polar regions ' Mount Eccentric' "
