.About 20 special constables journeyed from Methven by Monday morning's train en route to the Addington Camp, under the charge of Messrs H. Green and V. Nanearrow. A large number of prominent district farmers assembled at the station to give them a hearty send-off. A similar number- of specials are also in readiness for despatch if required.
