POST AND TELEGRAPH OFFICERS.
THEIR WORK UNDER-ESTIMATED
NEW PLYMOTJH, November 24. •.'. At a large meeting of' the Taranaki branch, of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association, the resolutions submitted to Public, Service Commissioners by the. delegates from the conference, and amended to read as follows, were approved of :—
"That this conference of Post and Telegraph officers, after comparing' the classification list for the Post and Telegraph- officers, is of opinion that the importance of the dutie3 performed by the'officers of the. Post and Telegraph Department has been under-estimated, and; respectfully requests that the Commissioners should further review the. position of. affairs,". and ." That this ■ branch of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association has the fullest ~confi-' dence in the delegates sent to the late conference, and is in entire .sympathy with the resolutions passed by that body."
