i WELLINGTON, November 7. Tho Council' resumed at 2.30 p.m., and put through a number of Bills received from ; the lower House. On receipt of a message that the House disagreed with its amendment to tihe Washing-up Bill, the Council resolved, by 8 votes; to 4, to insist upon its amendment.
