| The Willowby Literary and Debating Society held its closing meeting for the i season on Monday evening. There was a large attendance of members, and Mr W. T. Lill presided. The programme for the evening took the form of a mock, banquet, during which the customary toasts were proposed, responded to, and duly honoured. Musical items were.given by Misses Chapman (2), H. Parker, and Mr Lush; violin solo, Mr G.''Chapman; while Miss Chapman presided at the organ. The singing of '■' Auld Lang Sy.ne" brought a very | successful meeting to a close.
