BUSHFELLING AND THE UNEMPLOYED.
WELLINGTON, Juno 17. A large number of names have been registered by the Labour Department for the Government's bushfelling scheme. There are believed to be at least 80 capable bushmen among them; and it is estimated that there will bo 200 men ready to take advantage of the offer of work. The destination is in the. Rangitatau block, about ten miles from Waitotara railway station, arid from 10,000 to 15,000 acres in area.
