United Press Association—f«y Electric Telegraph—Copyright ■i Pabis, Nov 17 The situation in France has apparently inspired a letter writen by tha Pope, and which was published in the "Osservatore Romano," directing Cardinal Reßpighi, Vicar-General at Rome, to order, special prayers for the enemies of the Caurch. His Holiness saye that this is the only means left him in the present grievous condition of the Church, fought and oppressed by many of her own children, who had become her enemies.
