Clearing Sale.
Thore was a good attendance at Digby's Brid-jo yo3terday, when Mr D. Thomas conducted a clearing sale of live and dead stock. Bidding was fairly brisk, End a clearance was effected. Dairy cows realised £.3 16s, £4 Ids, to .-86 ss; calves, £{ 17a 6dj draught raares brought £45, £35, £ii s aud £33 ; draught geldings .£SO, £40, .£32, and £18 10s, a three year old colt realised £35, and yearlings £27 and .£l3. A light mare brought £16 10s, and a harness horse brought £9 10s. A M'Cormick reaper and binder brought £16 10s, dray and frame £l4>, combined drill £9, ridger £9 10b, roller .£ls 15s, while a wide assortment of farm sundries reached well up to the usual rates. Mrs Mclntyre provided luncheon for those present. |
