Accident.—An ac.r.idont occurred at the salegarda gnta on tho Oeraeterv Road this morning. A mm named Thomas Mathiesou was driving n pair of horse 3in a spring cart with an outrigger, the cart being loaded with chaff. The swingletree of the outeide ho^so bee*me unhitched, and the horse, taking fright, bored into the fenc* until the enrt caught the fence and toppled over. The driver, who was sitting on the chaff, had a miraoulous escape. He slid off and escaped without a scratch. One of the horsos got away and galloped towards the town, being stopped near the Domain. The other hor36 fell over when the cart overturned, but willing bands assisted to get him np agßin and he was found to be uninjured.
