China and the Peace Conference. Tokio, July 10 Baron -Komura, one of the Japanese peace plenipotentiaries, had a brilliant eend off when he started for Washington. There is a general confidence that he and ■ hie colleagues will secure a permanent peace. Japan is strongly opposed to President Boosevelt, who does not support China's request to be personally represented at the Peace Conference.
