Four officers and twenty non-comtnis-Bioned officers refusing to go to Manchuria on the ground that the wealthier officers evaded service by bribing the officials were ordered to be shot.
On a Lithuanian regiment refusing to execute the above death sentence, the Cossacks did, and the Lithuanians latwr killed 200 of the Cossacks.
