In reference to the Federal oapital site Mr Carruthers is determined to take decided action and will, if necessary, take the matter to the High Court. In regard to the statement made by one of the new Federal Ministers that the law of the Commonwealth praotically fixed the site and the State had no power to alter it, the Premier said that his State had power enough and vigour and strength enough to Bhow the Commonwealth that it had no right to put its hands on a single aore of New South Wale 3 territory.
