Tinwald Racing Club.


The annual meeting of the above club was held on Saturday evening, There was a good attendance of members. The balinca-Fheer, which waa adopted, showed a profit for the year of .£ls. Tt was decided to hold <i race meeting on January Is"-, 1906, en the Tinwald Racecourse.

Clark j Treasurer—Mr M. Lagan j Auditor—Mr W. Picklea; Stewards— Me?ss3 C. Doherty, Jas. Hampton, J. M. Hampton, J. Heseltine, J. Clark, H. Ligin, W. H. Bell. H. Thompson, V. Smith, R. Thompson, and G. Morrison; Handicapper— Mr.T. Lewis; Chairman of Committee—Mr J. Clark. A vote of thanks was accorded to Mr J. Clark, chairman, for the very able manner in which ho had performed his duties as secretary. ,•.;"■■, Mr 0. Bennett was appointed secretary. Mr Donald McLean's resignation as President of the club was received with regret, and the secretary was instructed to forward a letter to that gentleman expressing the 'C/lub'g sympathy with him in hi 9 long and trying illness, and wishing 1 him a speedy recovery.
