Auckland, June 27 In conimifrting Jobn Henry Fnirall for trial on a charge of manslaughter, by kil- ! ling Arthur Henry Bnrfoot in a fight, Mr Kettle, S.frT, remarked that he thought ifc his duty to do so, though he felt sorry for the man. It was teohnioal manslaughter, in his opinion, and he thought some provision should be made by the Legislature 1 that Magistrates could deal with ca<?es of this sort, where there was a technical crime with no wrong motives.
