United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Chkistchurch, June 27 William Powers was committed for trial on a charge of committing a gross outrage on a girl of ten yearß. Bail was fixed at .£250 with two sureties of each. R. Bradbury on remand was charged with procuring two men to burn down a waterproof clothing factory in Hereford Street in January 1904. The case is proceeding.
