Britain's Demand for Reparation
Received June 27, 7.29 a.m. London, June 26 The Russians, while retreating, murdered seven natives at Nanahan and Chingtse. 1600 Russians are entrenching at Kwainei on the left bank of the Tumen. Strenuous efforts are being made to improve the defences of Vladivostock and to increase the supplies. There are three army corps at Vladivostock. The '• Standard " says that the fact chat two British vessels lxave suffered from Russian cruisers ought to make the dedemand for reparation more stern.
