Farmers' Co-onerative Association's SaleThe N.Z. Farmers' Co-operative Association held their usual sale of live stock this afternoon. Fowls brought from 2s to 2s 9d per pair; roosters sold at 2s 6d to 2s 9d per pairj purebred roosters brought 10s per pair. Small pigs sold at 6s to 9s.
This afternoon a batch of cablegrams came to hand which had been posted by the express from Christchurch. Messrs Friedlander Bros., Ltd., next Horse Fair will be held on Friday, July 14th, for which they are now booking entries. At the clearing sale conducted by Mr DThomas at Shepherd's Bush last Thursday, the entire entry, comprising some 2,100 sheep, averaged 24s 3d each.
