Chemstckukch, June 21 At the Addington yards to-day, with the exception of fat sheep and fat cattle, entries of stock were small, but there was a good attendance. Thoro wa<3 im improved demand for store sheop, and fat lambs were very firm. Boef again mat with a very dull sale, and there was a further decline in the demand and price for pigs. Fat sheep, except inbred ewes, sold well. Store and dairy cattle met with little demand. The st.or-3^ sheep yarding was principally of wethers, and the improvement in the weather evidently had an effect upon the demand, as there was a much better enquiry and prices were iicmer. The principal sales were:—l76 bwotootii wethers 18s 9d, 200 four and six tooth 18s (Jri, 100 at 18s Id, 250 at i7s 2'J, and 117 four and six tooth at 17s fi<J,2oo mixed agos 17s 7d, 105 at 16a lOi, 120 at 16s '.)d, and 70 at IGs Id; Hogget? 70»t1554d, and 91 at 14.--, 100 ot I3i 4d iind a few small lots of a^ed crossbred ewe'; ;n lamb 12r, Id to 14s 2d. Fat Lambsthe entry was small and was principally c«>aipod«jd of medium quality. There was keen compotitiou on tuo part of export buyers aud prices vrem very firm. The range of prices was: -T-jgs 19.5 to 203 and extra hoavy to ]i'ds Id; scaiidard weight 17s 6d to 18s 03, and lighter 15s 6d to 17b 3d. Fat Sneep—There was fairly large yarding- in about equal proportions oi >v*;th«r3 and ewes The majority of the wethers were well finished and these and the be.-fc ewes sold firmly at late rates. The range of prices was prime wethers 22s t~> 255, extra to 28s 6d, lighter and unfinished 18s Sd to 21s 6d, prime ewes 19$ to 21s 3d, medium 17s to 18s 6d others 143 to 16.3 (id; marino ewes 11s 51 to 12s. Fat Cattle—There wore 217 head penned, steers made £5 7s 6d to .£ll ss; Heifers £5 53 to £7; Cows Ms3to £7 ss.
