United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph. CHBrsTCHURCH, June 22 The Canterbury Land Board met to-day to examine applicants for sections on the Flaxbourne Estate. Over sixty attended. The majority were admitted to ballot. A successful trial of the Colombo Street to South Belt section of the Christchurch electrio tramway system was held to-day. The section will be opened for traffic as soon as it is passed by the Government Engineer.
