The nefc proceeds of the sale of work at Dunedin in aid of the Presbyerian school for Maori girls at Turakinn, amounts to £588 6s 2d. Alcorn's drapery, clothing, and boot house give particulars of prices in their various departments ia vogue during their sale now on. The Scenery Preservation Commission has practically completed its labours for the present. During the next few months. Sr.es <rs W. W. Smith and H. J. Matthews will be engaged in inspecting a number of spots that have lately been recommended. The other members of the Commisaion are returning to their homes. After the winter the Commission, as a whole, will resume its labours.
