Dear Sir,—l have yours of yesterday, conveying an application m favour of your son as a candidate for the course of lectures for farmers' sona, proposed to be given here. I am sorry that your application is the first I have received, and I scarcely think it likely that sufficient candidates will come forward for the course to be proceeded with.
