A 53 Minutes' Battle at Tsushima, Received Juna 16, 5.36 a.m. London, June 15 The Russians are astride the railway and their position extends from Ohengciatun, where there is a great supply depot, to Kirin. Nogi threatens the western, and Kawamura the eastern flank, east of Kirin. Togo's report shows that the battle at Tsnsh»ma commenced at 8 minutes past 2 and was decided by 45 minutes past 2. The range finder plaoed in the fighting tops of the Japanese ships gave the gunners accurate range considerably before the Russians were able to locate Togo's fleet.
