Dunedin, June 12 Charles Herbert Boydoll, a second-hand dealer m Groat, King Street, appears to have committed suicide m a determined manner between Saturday night and this morning. He was last seen on Saturday night, and this morning his shop not being opened about noon a passer by noticod a strong smell of gas, and the police being informed, they entered by the back window, and Boy dell was roan* upstairs undressed and m bed. A piece of tubiDg ran fcots the gas jet underneath the bedclothes, and lay close to hiß face, the gas being turned on full. Deceased was 33 years of: age, and a widower, and has a mother living. An inqueßt will be' held.
