London, June 9 While a submarine was running on the surface with the hatch open, and r'our persons standing outside, she suddeuly, without the slightest warning, dived and disappeared. The four men outside, including- the commander, were washed overboard and were rescued. Fifteen men inside were drowned. An hour after the accident an explosion occurred under water, probably through gasoline vapour, and a quantity of wreckage rose, suggesting [ that the submarine was blown to pieces The King condoled with the relatives of the victims.
