Longbeach Road Board.

The usual monthly meeting of the Longbeach Road Board was held this morningPresent—Messrs J. Bishop (m the chair) J. Small and White. Correspondence was dealt with as under:— From Mr D. G, Wright, Winslow, asking for repairs to culverts near his property.— Received. It was decided that Mr Stoddart and the surveyor should inspect the culverts and report thereon. I From Mr A, McArfchur, asking the Board to recognise transfer of certain property from himself to Mr T. White of Flemington. —Eeceived. From Mr T. Taylor, asking the Board to recognise lease of certain property from himself to Mr W. J. Taylor.—Received. Prom Mr B. Evans, notifying transfer of certain property to Mr Williamb, Spread-eagle.-—Received. ' From Mrs M. Sheehan, notifying transfer of certain propsrty to Mr W, Prebble, jun. —Received. From Messrs Friedlander Bros, Ltd., notifying transfer of certain property from Mr R. Vish, to Mrs Mary Sheanan.—Received. From Mr Hugh Cullon, notifying transfer of certain property to Messrs A. Weston and. T. White, Flemington.—Eeceived. It was decided that the above transfers be duly recorded on the Rate Roll. From Mr J. Rountree, Tinwald, asking that a storm water outlet be constructed near his proparty Boundary Road, Willowby —Received. It was decided that Mr Lill and the surveyor should inspect the site and report thereon. From Mr P. Sheenan, Wheatstone, asking permission to fell a few trees on the Wheatstone reserve.—Reoeived, and permission granted on the usual terms. On the motion of Mr W. Lill, Messrs Small and Lill were appointed to Bign the Rate Roll for the ensuing year. It was decided that the surveyor should interview Mr Craighead, County water ranger, re certain improvements required to a ford on Graham's Road. It was decided to write to the Tinwald Town Board asking for their co-operation m regard to having a ford outlet near M r Gudsell's property cleaned. It was also decided to give Mr Gudsell legal notice that, unless he at once makes provision for a sufficient outlet, the Board would be compelled to take legal action. Accounts amounting to £57 12s 9d were pussed for payment, and the meeting then adjourned,
