There was a fair attendance at the Methven saleyards yesterday, and there was a fair sized yarding of sheep, with a few oattle. Prices obtained were m moat instances well up to late rates, and bidding was brisk. Following are prices :—Fat Sheep—Two-tooth wethers 17s 6d and 18s Id ; ewes, 13s 3d and 18s ; lambs, 16s 9d and 17s 4d. Store Sheep—Wethers 14s, merino wethers 4s, lambs 10a 2d, 14s, and 15s 4d. Cattle—Calves 17s, 18-months 1 cattle 355.
