Consternation in Russia.
Togo Cheered as the Saviour of Russia. London, June 1 Publication of the details of the naval disaster has produced universal consternation in Russia, angry denunciations of the rottenness of the "body politic and covert threats against the dynasty. It is alleged there are serious disaffections in the army. The sailors at the Odessa barracks broke out into a mutinous demonstration in favour of Admiral Togo, and the crowd cheered Admiral Togo as the Saviour of Russia. It is now stated that the report that Admiral Folkersahm was captured wa3 due .to a clerical error. He is supposed to have perished. The loss of the Gromoboi is denied.
