Kronstadt in Mourning.
War to be Continued Doggedly. The Czar will Fight (per proxy) to the Last Man. London, May 31 The Russian defeat has plunged Kronstadtin mourning. Hundreds of families are affected. Reuters St. Petersburg agency reports that the public are apathetic, listless,,and resigned. Opinions on all sides show that the Government will continue the war as doggedly as ever. Supporters manifest no sign of flinching. A high official assured "The Times" correspondent that the Czar would fight while a single soldier or a single ship wa3 available. ___—
