Dunedin, May 25 The Otago Farmers' Union have appointed the president, Mr Clark, and the treasurer, Mr Donald Eeid, delegates to the colonial Conference. Eesolutions were carried asking the Minister of Railways to reduce freights on ground lime, and asking the Government to bring forward as early as possible promised legislation -providing for efficient earmarking to make convictions for sheep stealing less difficult. The opinion was expressed that all prosecutions of the stock department should ba conducted by Inspectors without legal assistance. Mr Pram was appointed provincial organiser.
