One hundred and fifty junks, deeply laden with supplies, were sighted on the 16th off St. John's Cape. They are believed to be proceeding to ni6et the Baltic Fleet. The Japanese captured near the Pescadores Islands the French steamer Quanguam, with a cargo of coal, bound from Hongkong to Saigon. It is believed that the coal was intended for the Baltic Fleet.
