Important Land Sale.
The Canterbury Farmers' Co-operative Association, report having sold by public auction, at their land salerooms, Waimate, yesterday, on account of Mr John Addinell, hia Willowbridge Estate, comprising about 520 aores, sub-divided into 10 blocks. There was a very large attendance during the sale. Buyers from Otago and North Canterbury competed keenly with the local men. The latter, however, were the best stayers, and became the owners of this splendid e3tate. For keen competition and steady all round prices, this sale establishes quite a record for this favoured district. The following ia a complete list or the sales:—Lot 1, 77acres, at £34, to Mr O. Faulkner ; lot 2, 20 acre 3at £30 5s to Mr W. D. Douglas; lot 3, 30 acres at £30 5s to Mr W. D. Douglas; lot 4,30 acres at £30 10s to Mr W. D. Douglas; lot 5, 80 acre 3at £30, to Me E. S. Kain ; lob 6, 76£ aores at £30, to Mr John O'Connor; lot 7,64 acres at £32 10s to Mr John Luck; lotß, 34 acres at 4!34. 10s, to Mr A. Cochrane; lot 9 and 10 112 acres at £28, to Mr W. Eoberts.
