Robinson.-—ln sad aud loving memory of Maude Mary Annie Robinson, who died suddenly m the Christchurch Hospital on May 12th, 1901 'Tis just a year ago to-day, Since our dear Maude passed away; We mourn you m silence and sorrow unseen, And long for the joys of the days that have been. How sudden was the shock to us; A great shock to us all; But when our God his summons sends, None can refuse his call. In Ashburton's lovely cemetery, So beautiful and green; There sleeping lies our Maude dear, From human eyes unseen. The winds of heaven blow softly o'er, The sweet and hallowed spot; For 'mid the changing scenes of life By us she's not forgot. —Inserted by her sorrowing Parents and Sisters and Brothers.
