French Newspapers Satisfied with Britain.
Eeceived May 12,1.14 p.m. London, May 11 Leading Tokio newspapers express satisfaction at the attitude of the British press and people, which they declare will strengthen the Japanese m the hour of trial, French newspapers highly appreciate the effect of the cordial entente m removing the war cloud threatening France and Japan. The " Figaro" says that but for England's friendship France would have been several times plunged into war since the outbreak of the war m the Far East. The"Hetita Eepubiique" accuses Russia of seeking to drag France into her own ■worst adventures. The Czar and his Ministers simply regard France sb the medium to Bupply money.
