The Opposition Campaign.
REFORM LEAGUE STARTS IN CANTERBURY.
Christchurch, May 6 As the result of the recent visit of Mr Massey, Leader of the Opposition, to this city and district, a largely attended meeting was held last night at which the Canterbury Political Reform League was formed. An executive committee was set up and many promises of support were received. The Opposition platform, as propounded by Mr Massey at his meeting on Tuesday night in this city, was adopted, and arrangements were made for a vigorous political campaign.
