Clearing Sale at Waterton.
The Farmers' Co-operative Association, acting m conjunction with tfre National Mortgage Co., Ltd., conducted a clearing sale at Waterton yesterday on account of Mr W, Houston, who has purchased a farm elsewhere. There was a good attendance, and the sale was a very satisfactory one. The following are the price 3 realised :— Houses— Bay draught mare .fill, do £20, black draught gelding £21, bay harness gelding £15, chestnut harness mare £8 10s, yearling hack filly £14 IDs, foal, by " Prince Imperial," £9, draught filly foal .£lO, chestnut trap horse £5. Pigs—Three sows m pig 323 Gd each, others 40s and 50s each, stores 25s and 28s each, weaners 5s each Sheep—Twenty-seven crrasbred ewes, 2, 4, and 6 tooth, 17a 2d, 2 rams, $gn, lamb 21s. Vehicles—Whitechapel cart £7, spring cart .£B, dray and frame .36. Jmplements—Disc harrows £4 10s, , double-furrow plough £3 10s, MasseyHarris binder £21, sheep netting .£3,4----leaf harrows £4 7s 6d. Small stack of hay £2, stack oat shoal 1 chaff .£1.3 10s, oat sheaf chaff 2s per bag.
