Tinwald Town Board.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the Tinwald Town Board was held last night. Present—Messrs C. Doherty, J. A. Clothier, M. Lagan, T. Williams, and J. Hampton. Correspondence was dealt with aa follows :■ — From the Valuation Department, forwarding Valuation Roll.—Received. From C. Rennet, asking that his name be taken off the roll and that Jof H. Gunn substituted.—Agreed to. One tender was received for the formation of Wilkin Street, but it was found to be informal, an dthe surveyor was instructed to call for fresh tenders, unless an arrangement could be made with the tenderer m question. It was decided to give notice of the Board's intention to strike a general rate of |d m the JB,a special meeting to be called ' to confirm the same on May 17. I The surveyor was authorised to put m concrete pipes across Grove Street. Tt was decided to serve final notices on occupiers notifying them that unless they proceed to grub gorse off the roads by May 20th, the Board will put on a man to do the work at the occupiers' expense m addition to the legal fine.
